Mission Support Engineer

Responsibilities

Noblis ESI is seeking a Mission Support Engineer to join our elite team providing Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services in Chantilly, Virginia. 

 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Provide support to enable Headquarter-level systems engineering processes vital to operational missions. 
  • Support Headquarter government staff to execute systems engineering and integration (SE&I) processes across the enterprise. 
  • Work with systems engineering and integration (SE&I) teams to execute the systems engineering process. 
  • Facilitate Headquarter level systems engineering forms by preparing agendas, conducting meetings, maintaining web pages, and generating meeting notes and action items. 
  • Serve as liaison between GPOC and internal/external organizational project managers to monitor progress. 

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph clearance. 
  • US Citizenship is required. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). 
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience, and possess an understanding of systems engineering processes. 
  • Experience with collaboration tools (e.g. Jira or Confluence). 

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiar with Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Agile development, or cloud technologies. 
  • Familiar with IC/client mission architecture. 
  • Team player with the ability to work independently to support multiple government customers to address the organization's needs. 
  • Self-starter, proactively address customer requirements with minimal supervision. 
  • Polished communicator, both written and verbal. 
  • Comfortable briefing senior government leaders and coordinating regularly with muliple stakeholders.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
