Senior Merchandising Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented SeniorMerchandising Analyst to join our Merchandising team!  The Senior Merchandising Analyst will support the Senior Manager in the planning, development, and execution of merchandising strategies to optimize sell through performance. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, market trends, and consumer behavior to ensure our product assortments are well-aligned with customer demands and business objectives.


Responsibilities:
  • Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and product performance to provide insights on current merchandising strategies.
  • Prepare weekly and ad hoc sales reports on key performance metrics.
  • Monitor and identify emerging trends in the footwear industry, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
  • Partner with Senior Manager to provide recommendations for adjusting product offerings accordingly.
  • Assist in the development of product assortments by analyzing historical sales, market trends, and consumer feedback. Collaborate with the Design, Product Development, and Merchandise Planning team to ensure the optimal product mix is available to consumers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, site experience and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and alignment with promotional strategies.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in merchandising, retail analytics, or a related field (experience in footwear or the fashion industry is a plus).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and takes ownership of work. 
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a solutions-driven mindset.
