A large part of this position is to work with and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external agencies therefore written, verbal and presentation skills need to be of a high standard.Note:• This is a remote contractor role and is open to candidates based in the US or UK• Candidate is willing to work on occasional intersecting AEST hoursThe SEO Consultant is responsible for:SEO● Strategic & technical SEO advice & support across OMG websites● Management of SEO initiatives● Management of SEO agencies and platforms● Increased performance of SEO as a channel YoY● Be the knowledge hub of SEO for the wider businessTech SEO and Site Optimisation● Audit – site architecture, content structure, copy and content, UX, site server performance, backlinks, meta-data and titles, alt tags●Management of Recommendations – summary of findings, project management● Management – QA Reviews, developer liaison● Analytics and Tracking Review● Competitor AnalysisContent● Content Calendar – daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, ad hoc● Blog Content – research, recommendations, collaboration● Keyword Mapping and Optimisation● Keyword Research● Topic and Trend Analysis● Customer Focused and Hero Content – research, recommendations, collaborationDigital PR and Outreach● Content Promotion Strategy● Link Building● Hitlist Creation – research, recommendations, collaboration● Outreach – influencers, bloggers, publishersReporting● Have good knowledge of tracking best practices to report correctly● Be able to report on budgets spent and targets to date for channels worked on● Work closely with the Analytics team to create reporting dashboards that give all the metrics needed for channels worked onRequirements• Organised and proactive, with a desire to always be learning.• A strong communicator, both internally with your team and externally with clients, with good presentation skills.• Able to work as part of a hybrid team (on-site & off-site).• Experienced in fundamental SEO.• Proficient in Google sheets, confident with basic formulas.• Inquisitive. Always asking ‘why?’• Collaborative, able to work well as part of a team, offering to support and pitch in on accounts other than your own may be necessary sometimes.• Able to thrive independently.
