You are a visionary leader and strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving innovation, scaling product organizations, and delivering exceptional outcomes in fast-growing SaaS environments. As Vice President of Product Management, you will set the strategic direction for our product portfolio, align cross-functional teams around a shared vision, and inspire your team to achieve excellence.


You’re not just a builder; you’re a leader who knows how to align business goals with client needs, ensuring our products create significant market impact. This is a pivotal role where you’ll report directly to Ontic’s CTO. Your ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution will make you a vital part of our journey.


Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the overarching product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Influence company ARR by developing and executing product strategies that fuel adoption, expansion, and retention.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to ensure we maintain a leadership position in our industry.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Product Management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Establish best practices for product development and prioritization
  • Act as the voice of the clients , ensuring our products address key pain points and deliver measurable value.
  • Engage directly with enterprise clients to gather insights, validate solutions, and strengthen relationships.
  • Partner with Sales, Client Success, and Marketing to align product offerings with clients needs and drive adoption.
  • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives, balancing speed and quality.
  • Align with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to define and deliver impactful go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive accountability across teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of product milestones.
  • Define and monitor key product success metrics to evaluate performance and inform future decisions.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities, optimize product-market fit, and champion initiatives that drive client retention and satisfaction.
  • Own the product P&L, balancing investments in innovation with operational efficiency.
  • Present updates to executive leadership on product performance, roadmap progress, market insights, and strategic adjustments necessary for ongoing product success


Preferred Qualifications
  • 20 + years of experience in Product Management, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of scaling product organizations and driving significant business outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS product dynamics, including acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on empowering others to succeed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment around shared goals.
  • Strong technical acumen and familiarity with modern product management tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, SFDC, Pendo, Domo).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage analytics to inform decisions and strategy.
  • Adept at translating complex business requirements into actionable product initiatives.
  • Passion for building exceptional products that solve real client problems.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a bias for action.
  • Collaborative and transparent, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.


$275,000 - $300,000 a year
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes a bonus plan, equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Ontic. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
