Senior Technical Program Manager, Consumer Application

As the holiday season approaches, we want to inform you that response times and the hiring process may be slightly extended due to business team schedules. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this period and remain committed to keeping you informed as we review applications. Thank you for considering a role at ŌURA—we look forward to learning more about you!

Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped 2.5 million people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.

Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Consumer Application team to help us bring the best consumer software experience to our Oura members. This role will demand close collaboration with Product Managers, scientists, and software developers to ensure the software is developed and tested to meet defined requirements. We are seeking a candidate with a strong personal drive of quality excellence and motivated by the desire to deliver health and activity insights that can improve the lives of millions of people across the globe.

We have offices in San Francisco and San Diego for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.

What you will do:

While you are responsible for the technical program management, you also enjoy roll-up your sleeves and putting your hands in the mud. More specifically:

  • Act as a liaison between Product, Development, Science, and QA teams through all phases of the development process
  • Collaborate with Oura product and software developers working on consumer facing features by providing technical and quality support during the design, development, testing and deployment of software.
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to plan and facilitate major feature launches
  • Support and contribute to roadmap and delivery planning processes
  • Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities.

  • Demonstrated strong skills to organize, prioritize, communicate and execute.
  • Detail orientation with strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
