A World-Changing Company
Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more.
The Program
Global conflict, campus environments, and the political climate reinforce America’s — and more broadly the West’s — absolute need for smart people with moral clarity that have access to problems that matter.
Nowhere else will you find a concentration of such people or problems than at Palantir. We power hospital operations, coordinate disaster relief, support U.S. allies like Ukraine and Israel, and much more.
Last December, we launched the Semester at Palantir program for students who desire to accelerate their career and learn by doing — working on meaningful problems in the real world rather than just in the classroom, especially at universities where teaching has strayed.
After convening one of the strongest cohort of interns to join Palantir to-date, we are proud to announce another spring cohort of the program starting January 2025. University fellows will be placed in one of our various roles to work alongside full-time Palantirians, supplemented with programming curated to fuel growth and criticality. The spring 2025 program runs from January-May 2025.
The Role
You’ll work alongside a full-time team solving a variety of technical problems - contributing to Palantir products and customer outcomes. In this role, the challenges you'll seek will require a curious and analytical approach, a sharp intuition for product, and a strong degree of user insight to ultimately empower our customers to improve decisions.
Our customers come to us with a hunch that the only way to protect their troops, manufacture high-quality products, structure effective healthcare policies, or deliver aid to refugees safely is to make better use of AI. You’ll contribute to turning that hunch into reality. You may also be deployed to Palantir internal teams and problems. You will be matched to roles based on your skills, interests, and experience.
Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $6,500 - $10,000/month. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual’s relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes the value of any benefits offered; and the potential future value of any long-term incentives.
Life at Palantir

Paying attention to the needs of our community enables us to optimize our opportunities to grow and helps ensure many pathways to success at Palantir. Promoting health and well-being across all areas of Palantirians’ lives is just one of the ways we’re investing in our community. In keeping consistent with Palantir’s values and culture, we believe employees are “better together” and in-person work affords the opportunity for more creative outcomes. Therefore, we encourage employees to work from our offices to foster connectivity and innovation. Many teams do offer hybrid options (WFH a day or two a week), allowing our employees to strike the right trade-off for their personal productivity. Based on business need, there are a few roles that allow for “Remote” work on an exceptional basis. If you are applying for one of these roles, you must work from the state in which you are employed. If the posting is specified as Onsite, you are required to work from an office.
If you want to empower the world's most important institutions, you belong here. Palantir values excellence regardless of background. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer for all, including but not limited to Veterans and those with disabilities. Palantir is committed to making the application and hiring process accessible to everyone and will provide a reasonable accommodation for those living with a disability. If you need an accommodation for the application or hiring process, please reach out and let us know how we can help.
If an employer mentions a salary or salary range on their job, we display it as an "Employer Estimate". If a job has no salary data, Rise displays an estimate if available.
