Your Career
The Senior Manager of Revenue Operations is a key Palo Alto Networks accounting team member. This individual will report to the Director of Revenue Operations, lead Palo Alto Networks’ key revenue accounting and operations areas, and be a strategic business partner who advises on the direction of the business, operational improvements and executes operational excellence. She or he will oversee and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of revenue results. This individual will also provide leadership in developing effective financial reporting to ensure the financial integrity of revenue.
He or she will serve as a key confidante and trusted advisor to the Director of Revenue Operations and VP of Revenue Operations on revenue accounting and related financial control matters. He or she will be a strong communicator with responsibility for educating the senior leadership team on important revenue issues. The individual we seek is intelligent, agile, pragmatic, hard working and a quick thinker.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing revenue close accounting activities, leading projects, developing new processes and improving the month-end revenue close process. He or she brings a compelling track record of delivering shareholder value as an accounting leader in a complex, public organization. She or he brings a breadth of finance experiences, business acumen, and leadership skills to the role. We seek a collaborative, assertive, and energetic executive who is passionate about creating value for the Company; he or she will have exceptional intellect, emotional intelligence, business and finance acumen, and leadership skills to develop and deliver a vision for the revenue operations team.

The Team
The team is a fun group of specialists who are responsible for ensuring our consolidated revenue results are complete and accurate with policies, procedures and systems ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards. They work closely with other departments, such as IT, FP&A, sales operations, legal, investor relations, product development to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $138000 - $223500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
