About the job

The Product Owner will be working closely with the Development teams, Internal Departments and Business Function to identify and design solution offerings for the product backlog.

As our Product Owner, you will be responsible for:

  • Liaise with multiple departments for Product Discussions
  • Solution designing
  • Product backlog planning
  • Recommend Process Improvements
  • Achieve KPIs for Requirements Quality

Objectives of this role

  • Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders for Requirements Elicitation for Solutioning
  • Help our customers to identify their specific needs and are largely responsible for structuring the resulting requirements
  • Incorporate industry and business-specific requirements into the concepts and prepare business requirements for technical implementation.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding for merchants into the system and cater to any issues arising in merchant services
  • Actively utilising and enhancing internal tools and applications used
  • Understand the vision of the Product and the Roadmap. Convert the Roadmap into Team’s backlog with Epics, Features and User stories
  • Identify the Problem areas for Process improvements and Technical Debts
  • Maintain the JIRA board to align to the Scrum Teams and the Sprint cycles
  • Participate in Daily Scrum, Sprint planning, Refinement and Retrospection
  • Actively engage with the Development for Day-to day activities
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing for the Requirements alignment
  • Prepare process flows and process description documents.
  • Perform industry research to be at par with the latest trends in the market

You will be a good fit if you:

  • Are aligned with our values of Belief, Positivity, Accountability & Ownership, Speed and Execution
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, International Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analysis or related areas (Master’s degree is preferred). CSM, CSPO, SAFe certifications would be beneficial
  • Have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in organisations that are in Payments, BFSI, Travel tech, Ecommerce tech or Remittances
  • Are self-structured, highly motivated and driven to come up with solutions
  • Can work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Have the curiosity and passion to take on tough challenges
  • Are able to multitask and work on diverse range of requirements
  • Have a solid understanding of Business Strategy, User Experience Design and Technology
  • Have significant experience in Scrum and other Agile methodologies
  • Are experienced in Jira, Confluence, Figma and enterprise platforms (advantageous)
