About the job

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a skillset that will encompass both UI and UX with the ability to support our Product and Development teams with best-practice design solutions in an Agile environment. 

The UI/UX Designer must be comfortable working on any desktop or mobile product, building sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes. You must have strong creative and design skills and be familiar with various design technologies.

Objectives of this role:

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experiences
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to Engineering
  • Create mobile and responsive web wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices & standards
  • Develop design solutions for various platforms
  • Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
  • Establish consistent brand and creative designs
  • Convert approved design mock-ups into high quality HTML, CSS and required graphics ensuring responsiveness and seamless user experience
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders and adjust approach to cater to criteria
  • Build sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes to outline structure

You will be a good fit if you:

  • Are aligned with our values of Belief, Positivity, Accountability & Ownership, Speed and Execution
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in user experience, design or related field with 5+ years’ experience in mobile and responsive web UI experience, of which 2+ years must have been in an Agile / Scrum development process
  • Possess demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio 
  • Have solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps
  • Are proficient in the following software: Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, Sketch, Invision, Axure, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer
  • Are experienced in User centric design (UCD) rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns
  • Have excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Are up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques and technologies
