About The Role

As the Learning and Capability Manager, you will architect and drive PEXA's strategy for cultivating top talent and building critical capabilities. Through the PEXA Academy, you will drive learning interventions that accelerate skill mastery, leadership development, and a high-performance culture aligned with our DEI vision.

You will be a trusted consultant to senior leaders, gaining deep insights into future capability gaps and designing innovative, high-impact solutions. Your offerings will encompass cutting-edge learning approaches, emerging technologies, and immersive experiences that prepare our workforce for PEXA's evolving needs.


Key Accountabilities

Learning Strategy Formulation & Governance

• Construct and execute a visionary, data-driven learning strategy and roadmap that proactively addresses current and future capability requirements. This would require a close working relationship with business partners, talent, and OD to ensure a balanced strategy that supports business-critical skills as well as skills for the future.

• Establish robust governance ensuring seamless integration and strategic alignment of all learning initiatives across PEXA.


PEXA Academy Leadership

• Accountable for the strategic design, delivery, and success of learning initiatives across the organisation, ensuring they drive capability growth, engagement, and future-fit performance.

• Be recognised across the organisation as a thought leader and SME who can provide expert knowledge in capability.

• Can demonstrate knowledge and expertise on a broad range of capabilities to drive strong business outcomes that support the uplift in talent across the organisation.

• Own the full breadth of the PEXA Academy's offerings, from leadership curriculum to targeted capability-building pathways.

• Reimagine the Graduate program as an elite talent accelerator, attracting top prospects and propelling their rapid development.

• Conceptualise and launch transformative, future-focused learning experiences across all business domains.

• Foster thriving communities of practice that spark knowledge exchange and peer-to-peer learning.

• Infuse learning with technologies and innovative modalities befitting PEXA's industry leadership.


Managing Vendors and Partnerships

• Cultivate and manage our ecosystem of learning providers, negotiating strategic partnerships that maximise value and impact.

• Ensure external solutions seamlessly amplify PEXA's internal capabilities in service of the overarching learning strategy.


Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advocacy

• Champion learning initiatives that actively promote DEI, creating equitable growth opportunities across all roles and demographics.

• Embed inclusive principles into learning design, delivery, and facilitation to foster a truly belonging culture


Data-Driven Decisions

• Implement robust measurement frameworks capturing qualitative and quantitative learning effectiveness.

• Leverage data-driven insights to continuously enhance offerings, demonstrating clear ROI and strategic business impact.

• Establish learning data governance and drive cross-functional alignment on metrics and reporting.


Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage proactively with senior leaders to deeply understand strategic priorities and translate them into targeted capability roadmaps.

• Exemplify trusted partnership, providing consultative guidance and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver unified solutions

• Extensive experience leading high-impact, innovative corporate learning functions in dynamic, technology-driven organisations.
