We partner with developers, property operators, and investors to curate a collection of apartment-like spaces in hand-picked neighborhoods. Our tech-enabled buildings create one-of-a-kind guest experiences and add tremendous value to the underlying real estate. Our property team members help our buildings thrive by focusing on execution and ensuring a great experience for both residents and guests. Our non-property team members support property execution and the evolution of other areas within our platform. They can enjoy remote-first work with the freedom to choose their location — as long as they have access to a workspace and reliable Wi-Fi. We believe collaboration is key, so our remote-first teams and property leaders have biannual in-person get-togethers at various locations across the US.

The Impact You'll Have
As a Senior Sales Manager, your primary role at Placemakr is to drive bookings from local and national corporate customers for Placemakr properties, with a particular focus on building a portfolio of repeat corporate clients. Your responsibilities extend to seeking market share from your competition while simultaneously tapping into new business segments for group and corporate transient.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving bookings from both local and national corporate customers, focusing particularly on establishing a strong portfolio of repeat clients. Your day-to-day will be filled with strategic planning, lead generation, and networking within the industry. You’ll collaborate closely with our revenue team to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and you’ll own the sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiations, all while building significant relationships within our supply network. You’ll be engaging in property tours, staying updated on market trends, and working hand-in-hand with the Regional Director of Sales to achieve revenue goals. To thrive in this role, you should have 5-10 years of sales experience in the hospitality sector, with a preference for corporate housing or extended stay hotel markets. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will be crucial as you build relationships and close deals.
