Mid-Level BIM/CAD Manager

Procon Consulting, a fast-growing professional services firm in McLean, VA with expertise in providing program and project management for design and construction, project controls, commissioning, construction-related technology, and facilities management, seeks a Mid-Level BIM/CAD Manager to join our expanding team. This role will support the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Huntsville, AL and will be 100% onsite.


Responsibilities
  • Ensure all project designs and construction activities align with FBI facility requirements, federal standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Oversee federal or government project workflows, maintaining adherence to project scopes and schedules.
  • Develop and manage Program of Requirements (POR), Campus Design Guides, and Construction Standards to support project objectives.
  • Incorporate Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools into the RFI (Request for Information) process to streamline project coordination and resolve design conflicts.
  • Conduct detailed construction cost estimates and review project plans to ensure budget adherence.
  • Create high-quality renderings and manage BIM models for presentation and project development purposes.
  • Apply national drafting standards and building codes to produce consistent and compliant design documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
  • Research and specify appropriate office furniture, wall types, light fixtures, and other design elements based on project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports, studies, and analyses for submission to federal agencies, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.


Qualifications
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Government Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5-10 years of experience in commercial/government office building design and construction
  • Proficiency in the most current versions of Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Experience with BIM standards and procedures
  • Ability to develop Design Intent Drawings and other documentation
  • Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural schematics
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously


$100,000 - $130,000 a year
Salary is commensurate with experience.
