This role supports teams that are the educational infrastructure at Prodigy. Key surface areas for the Product Manager in this role will be our Question Interface as well as our educational infrastructure that drives reporting and insights for teachers. If you have experience with assessment types in education or you are familiar with how to build out personalized educational experiences we want to hear from you. Or if you relish the opportunity to take a complex legacy product and produce something lean, simple and scalable we also want to hear from you!

Bonus points if you have experience in developing AI enhanced experiences in education.

Your Impact

  • Collaborate in a cross-functional team with developers, designers, and data scientists, and create a team culture with a vision aligned with our strategy

  • Curate the product backlog to ensure your team is always working on the highest priority task, balancing the development of new features, iterations, bug fixes, and other internal tasks

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers’ needs

  • Track and analyze metrics at every part of the student and teacher journey so that you can focus in on the highest value opportunities

  • Effectively scope projects and experiments so that they are lean but also add enough value to validate your hypotheses

  • Iterate upon successful features to ensure teachers always receive value from our product and students have what they need to be successful

  • The opportunity to enhance the key educational experience for students - our question interface!

  • The ability to provide insights to educators to make our experience more effective.

  • Consistently communicate what your team is working on and releasing to partner teams

  • Champion the accomplishments of your team to the rest of the company, ensuring that proper recognition is given when appropriate

About You

  • 4+ years of experience in a Product Management role at a SaaS company

  • A passion for education

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present a strong rationale and story for product decisions

  • Experience using user research and metrics to add significant value to a product

  • A solid understanding of data driven decision making, including the ability to drive and interpret hypothesis-based testing

  • The ability to scope projects so that every part of them plays a key role in your overall objective

  • Previous experience collaborating closely with engineers, developers, UX designers, and other team members
