Director of Marketing

Proficio is an award-winning managed detection and response (MDR) services provider. We provide 24/7 security monitoring, investigation, alerting and response services to organizations in healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, retail and other industries. Our typical client is a medium to large-sized organization that lacks the in-house resources to address the challenges of a rapidly changing threat landscape. The difficulty of hiring and retaining cybersecurity professionals are widely understood.  The Role:

We are seeking a Director of Marketing to manage brand development, sales support, lead generation, and partner adoption.  The Director will be charged with creating and building a long-term committed emotional connection with Proficio prospects, customers, strategic alliance partners, resellers, industry analysts, and employees.

  •  Lead strategic brand positioning in a highly competitive environment.
  • Define, champion and deliver a highly effective marketing strategy.
  • Drive marketing creative look, feel and execution for the brand across all vehicles.
  • Drive and influence innovative use of social media to build awareness and engagement.
  • Lead, nurture and champion new, out-of-the-box thinking that results in breakthrough ideas to lead the brand forward.
  • Ensure creative is compelling and remains on brand while clearly articulating core brand attributes and points of differentiation to drive sales.
  • Build customer awareness, acquisition and engagement.
  • Lead brand advertising, PR and media.
  • Own marketing strategy and spend for the brand.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of high-performing, results oriented marketing professionals.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of high-performing business development representatives
  • Ability to set and communicate a clear vision and drive for results.
  • Experienced with both reseller channels and strategic partner development. Experience with Cisco and Microsoft are a big advantage.
  • Demonstrated strategic agility and business acumen.
  • Capable of developing leaders and building a highly effective and engaged team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Resourceful marketer who finds creativity, not only in the development of marketing strategy, advertising and programs that drive retail, but also in the execution/application process throughout the store.
  • Significant experience (5+ years) in building marketing strategies in creatively driven companies.
  • Experience delivering traffic building programs that impact sales with a broad understanding of all areas of the business and the levers required to manage the P&L.
  • Must possess a keen sense of trends within the market and have the “touch & feel” necessary to take advantage of market factors to create marketing programs that build momentum.
  • Salary: $185,000 package including MBO's
