What does a great Project Analyst do?

As the Travelport+ Project Analyst, you will join a team driving one of the most exciting and transformational programs at Travelport. The mission is to partner with our delivery squads supporting Project Managers and Squad Leads, along with their teams, who are upgrading our customers to our exciting next generation travel retail platform – Travelport+.

This role operates across the enterprise and will involve everything from data analysis, KPI reporting, governance and delivery management. You will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of a squad as they progress our customers on their upgrade journeys. We need someone who is prepared to think on their feet, take responsibility for deliverables, contribute ideas and to work collaboratively with teams worldwide to really make this happen. You will have a strong attention to detail and not be afraid of organizing and running meetings, analyzing spreadsheet data and producing reports as well as ad-hoc tasks for the Squad Lead and Project Managers.

Responsibilities include:

Program Governance – Working with our PMO you will ensure we adhere to delivery standards and facilitate the work of your Squad and the wider program team.

Project Delivery Management – You will support regular squad and team meetings. You will ensure that we record key risks, issues and dependencies raised and that actions are promptly followed-up.

Managing data – As with any large and complex program we have huge amounts of data relating to our customers, the upgrades, internal systems and much more. This role will involve collating, summarizing and providing initial analysis of spreadsheet data relating to Squad status and performance.

Upgrade / improvement strategies – We will expect you to be bold in contributing ideas right from the start. We are constantly looking for ways to improve and in the above areas of your role we will be looking for regular suggestions to make us more efficient and better enabled to deliver on our goals.

Who e are looking for in this role:

• You will preferably have a basic project delivery qualification and working knowledge of Microsoft project and PMP, SAFe or equivalent.
• You will have experience of working in a complex delivery environment and of having supported projects end-to-end.
• You will be a self-starter who is happy meeting new people and working outside of your comfort zone. Fast paced does not mean impossible but we do expect things to happen quickly and for people to deliver on their commitments.
• You will be a strong communicator, team player and problem solver and be looking to broaden your horizons by working on a significant, industry-leading transformation.
• You won’t mind stepping into the detail or helping at an overview level to help the team move forward.
• Data and spreadsheets will not scare you, the insights you can discover from them will excite you!
