Marketing Generalist - job 1 of 3

Our client is looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Generalist to join our growing team in the Architecture and Residential contracting space. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind their organic social media strategy, content creation, and overall marketing efforts. You'll build the foundation of their marketing approach, including copywriting, basic video editing, and design work across various platforms.

While your primary focus will be creating compelling, engaging content, you will also have the opportunity to grow into other areas of marketing, including lead generation and marketing automation. They are looking for someone who can take initiative and thrive in a hands-on environment with the ability to learn on the job.

Location: Fully Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute organic social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).

  • Create engaging content (copywriting, blogs, posts, basic videos, graphics, etc.) that resonates with our audience.

  • Manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, interacting with followers, and analyzing engagement metrics.

  • Assist in developing and launching email marketing campaigns using HubSpot (training will be provided).

  • Ramp up and use Apollo for basic lead generation activities (training will be provided).

  • Reach out to leads generated through Apollo and nurture them through the sales funnel.

  • Continuously analyze marketing performance and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.

  • Collaborate with the team on marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand strategy.

Requirements:

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content for blogs, social media, and other marketing channels.

  • Basic video editing and graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools).

  • Experience with organic social media marketing and content creation.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

  • Willingness to learn and grow in areas like lead generation using Apollo and marketing automation in HubSpot.

  • Previous experience in architecture, residential contracting, or a related field is a plus, but not required.

Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus):

  • Experience with HubSpot for email marketing or lead nurturing.

  • Familiarity with Apollo for lead generation.
