Pumpkin is looking for a passionate Product Manager to help supercharge our growth. In this role, you’ll champion a culture of experimentation, constantly iterating and refining strategies through data-driven insights and user feedback to optimize product performance and user engagement. Leveraging your expertise, you’ll be responsible for journeys and experiences that help customers understand the value Pumpkin has to offer. Collaborating closely with Marketing and Engineering, your impact will position Pumpkin as the go-to choice for pet owners seeking high-quality pet insurance products!


This will be a hybrid position, with a minimum requirement of 2 days a week in the New York City office.


What You'll Do
  • Responsible for the day to day execution of the growth team's responsibilities to ensure a functional and well run platform (Quote flow, Website, and Partner interactions). 
  • Act as our customer’s biggest advocate through developing a deep understanding of user personas, pain points and journeys, using that knowledge to inform future opportunities.
  • Explore and execute solutions through constant user research, A/B tests, multivariate testing, and other experimentation methodologies.
  • Embrace the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable, and feasible, and continuously iterating and enhancing based on user feedback and market demands.
  • Leverage data to identify opportunities, uncover insights, and make compelling cases for action, driving informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on product KPIs and the impact of features to stakeholders and leaders, fostering transparency and accountability amongst the wider team.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, design, and business stakeholders, to scope, design, concept test, and deliver innovative solutions that delight our customers and drive business growth.


What We're Looking For
  • 3-5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in B2C technology forward organizations, both being able to support the day to day management of a team and the execution of a roadmap highly focused on constant testing.
  • Demonstrated track record of success driving growth and optimizing user experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Possessing an insightful eye for identifying growth opportunities and driving product innovation.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making, proficient in leveraging metrics, KPIs, and user insights to inform product strategy and measure success.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, effectively aligning stakeholders across cross-functional teams where teamwork and adaptability are paramount.
  • Genuine passion for animals and a deep understanding of the bond between pets and their families, with a dedication to improving the lives of pets and their owners at the core of everything you do at Pumpkin.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where sharing ideas, embracing diverse perspectives, and adapting to changing priorities are essential for success.

The compensation for this position ranges from $115,000- $140,000 (annually). Compensation may vary outside the listed range, based on a number of factors including but not limited to location, qualifications, performance, skills, and experience. The compensation range listed is just one component of Pumpkin’s total compensation package for employees. Total compensation packages, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other short or long-term incentives. If hired, employees will be in an ‘at-will position’ and Pumpkin reserves the right to modify compensation (as well as any other discretionary payment or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
