Plumbing Sales Associate - Commercial

Job Title: Sales Associate - Commercial Plumbing    
Location: Denver
Pay Range: $22.97 - 34.47/hr   
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm             
 
This position will remain open until 12/02/2024, or until the position is filled, whichever is later. 

Short Summary: 
Rampart Supply is looking for a dedicated and passionate Commercial Sales Associate to join our Sales team. As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for acquiring sales orders from new and existing commercial customers. Your technical knowledge, service orientation, and customer knowledge will help the department build healthy partnerships with our customers while also maintaining strong profit margins.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

Fulfill Contract Requirements/Leads a strong project closeout by:

  • Ensuring O&M manuals and submittals are accurate and completed by their deadline
  • Ensuring warranty requirements and responsibilities are understood with the customer
  • Identifying and resolving customer feedback or concerns in a professional and timely manner

 Maintains a productive work environment by:

  • Complying with procedures rules, and regulations
  • Collaborating and participating with marketing programs and initiatives
  • Participating in the identification and implementation of process improvements
  • Regularly evaluating methods, looking for ways to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Reporting any unsafe conditions to your supervisor
  • Additional duties as required

 Maintains professional and technical knowledge by:

  • Attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and establishing personal networks
  • Keeping current on changes and trends in methods of construction, equipment, materials, and construction costs
  • Demonstrating the application of skills learned
  • Working with manager to determine developmental needs that relate to Rampart and its goals and objectives

  • Organizing, prioritizing, and sequencing work taking into consideration a multitude of factors (bid schedules, vendor lead times, customer specifications, etc.)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior plumbing and heating industry sales experience preferred
  • Comprehensive product & industry knowledge
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in math
  • At least 6 months experience with order entry
