About the role

Range is looking for a Marketing and Data Analytics Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy. This position will support marketing strategy and execution across paid and organic channels, while owning the data infrastructure, reporting, and analytics that inform and optimize our efforts. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with a deep understanding of paid marketing channels and a strong technical skill set to manage and analyze complex datasets.

What you’ll do with us

Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Collaborate with the performance marketing team to optimize campaigns across channels such as Meta, Google, podcasts, and other emerging platforms.

  • Partner with the content and organic teams to analyze the performance of SEO and social initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve engagement and conversion.

  • Develop and refine strategies to target high-value audiences effectively, leveraging insights from contextual and demographic data.

Data Analytics & Reporting:

  • Build and maintain data pipelines to collect, clean, and aggregate marketing data from various sources, including 3rd party platforms (like Meta and Google) and internal data warehouses.

  • Develop and automate robust reporting dashboards to monitor KPIs and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Perform in-depth analysis of campaign performance, including attribution modeling, A/B testing, and spend efficiency studies.

Technical & Analytical Expertise:

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting and analysis.

  • Use Python for advanced analytics tasks, such as predictive modeling, campaign forecasting, or creative fatigue analysis (e.g., Hill function modeling).

  • Collaborate with engineers to enhance data collection processes and ensure data accuracy.

  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing analytics, with a strong emphasis on paid media performance.

  • Expertise in SQL and Python, with proven experience managing and analyzing complex datasets.

  • Deep understanding of paid acquisition channels, including campaign setup, optimization, and measurement.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Nice-to-Have Skills:

    • Basic proficiency in HTML for editing landing pages or email templates.

    • Familiarity with tools like Metabase, Looker, or similar BI platforms.

    • Experience working in SaaS or a subscription-based business.

    • Experience working at a high growth startup and/or at a FAANG/MAMAA
