As the Payroll Team Lead at Reckitt, you will be the cornerstone of HR efficiency and effectiveness. Your leadership will empower a dedicated team to deliver high-standard payroll that ripple through the heart of our organisation. You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll delivery, including reconciliations, payments, IRS/CRA filings, GL files, and month/year-end activities.Your responsibilities• Supervise the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payments to Reckitt employees in the US and Canada, adhering to statutory legislation and company policies• Manage team to ensure vendor completion of all payroll processing tasks and complete sign-off schedule for review ensuring any exceptions and outstanding tasks are documented• Ensure no material audit issues and maintain high standards of customer service• Oversee timely sign-off and upload of bank files for employee payments• Ensure Knowledge Transfer Activities between the GPS team members and the in-country payroll teams are fulfilled to a high degree of understanding• Collaborate with HRSSC and HR Ops to ensure accurate information replication in payroll systems (ADP GV and Celergo)• Manage review and reconciliation of interface reports from Success Factor and handle incoming inquiries per Service Level Agreements• Act as a first point of contact answering inquires and reporting areas of concern to leadership in a timely manner• Assist the NA Site Lead, which may include deputizing for them in their absence• Responsible for the performance management and development of team membersThe experience we're looking for• Bachelor/Master’s degree from a three/four-year college or university required• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in payroll, preferably in a leadership role• Proven experience as a Payroll Lead or similar role• Thorough knowledge of payroll compliances• Good knowledge of Excel and MS Office• Excellent analytical skills• Knowledge of one or more of the Payroll application systems preferred• Effective communication, analytical and interpersonal skills• Demonstrated aptitude for acquiring new technical skills in data reporting• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiencesThe skills for successPayroll, Payroll Operations, US Payroll, Canada Payroll, Organizational structure, Coaching skills; Facilitation skills, Change management, Execute plans, Strategic mindset, Employment engagement, Digital literacy, Operational Excellence, Commercial acumen, Courageous leadership.What we offerWith inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.We invest in the wellbeing of our people through parental benefits, an Employee Assistance Program to promote mental health, and life insurance for all employees globally. You will be rewarded in line with Reckitt's pay for performance philosophy.US salary rangesUSD $78,000.00 - $118,000.00US pay transparencyThe base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.
