HR Business Partner (Hybrid)

Join our client's dynamic startup-like environment as a Human Resources Business Partner! This is an incredible opportunity to lead and manage People Operations for an interior solutions firm where you'll wear multiple hats and drive key projects in an agile, entrepreneurial setting. As a department of one, you'll have a big focus on enhancing the newly developed onboarding program and performance management system. You'll foster a culture of excellence and employee engagement through a strategic and hands-on approach to HR policies, organizational development, talent management, and employee relations all aligned with their mission and vision.


The role is Hybrid - Onsite 4x per week!

 


What You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with agile business goals.
  • Lead the new onboarding program, ensuring seamless integration and a positive experience.
  • Oversee and manage the performance appraisal system to drive and sustain high performance.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing needs and resolving issues effectively.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and hire top talent.
  • Support business growth by developing, engaging, motivating, and retaining human capital.
  • Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization.
  • Foster a positive working environment and a strong company culture.
  • Maintain the pay plan and benefits program to ensure competitive and fair compensation.
  • Assess and implement training programs to meet the evolving needs of the team.
  • Ensure legal compliance in all aspects of human resource management.


What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years working experience in People Ops/HR.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership People Ops/HR role.
  • Prior experience in performance management, onboarding and employee relations.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Knowledge of EOS, Ninety, and iSolved HR systems and databases (Nice-to-Have)
