ReKlame Health is looking for an ambitious and driven MBA Business Development Intern to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint in government contracting and fostering public-sector partnerships. This internship offers the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of initiatives that directly impact access to culturally competent behavioral health and addiction care.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the CEO to identify and pursue opportunities with government agencies, including state-level RFPs, public health programs, and partnerships with entities like the MTA. You’ll have the chance to develop new markets, draft winning proposals, and contribute strategic insights, all while gaining in-depth exposure to the intersection of healthcare, government policy, and innovation.
This hands-on experience goes beyond typical internships by allowing you to collaborate directly with leaders across clinical, product, and operations teams, ensuring your work has a tangible impact on the organization’s mission and growth.
This is a summer internship, which will begin on June 1, 2025 and end on August 31, 2025.
Opportunity Research: Identify and evaluate potential government contracting and partnership opportunities, including state and local RFPs, transportation agencies, public health programs, and other government initiatives.
Proposal Development: Work with leadership to draft compelling proposals, RFIs, and other documentation tailored to the specific requirements of government contracts.
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of government trends and priorities to inform strategic decisions and identify alignment with ReKlame Health’s offerings.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, product, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and optimize proposals for success.
Compliance and Tracking: Develop and maintain tracking systems to ensure timely submissions and adherence to compliance requirements for government contracts.
Relationship Building: Assist in fostering connections with key decision-makers, agency representatives, and other stakeholders to establish strong foundations for future contracts.
Strategic Input: Provide insights and recommendations for improving ReKlame Health’s readiness and positioning for government contracting opportunities.
Education: Currently enrolled in or graduated from a MBA program with a focus on healthcare or related fields.
Experience: Previous exposure to or coursework in government contracting, RFP development, or public-private partnerships is a plus.
Public Sector Knowledge: Understanding government structures, procurement processes, and public health systems is highly desirable.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail in documentation, compliance, and proposal development.
Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to explore new markets, analyze trends, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
Familiarity with AI Tools: Essential for leveraging data analysis, streamlining proposal processes, and optimizing business strategies.
