Essential
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Director of Accounting to lead our accounting operations and enhance the financial statement reporting process. In this role, you will oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and lead tax compliance efforts. We're looking for someone who is excited about the Ritual brand, has a strong background in accounting and e-commerce, and is committed to creating scalable solutions in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do:- Lead supply chain strategy: Develop and execute supply plans that support our business goals, balancing sales objectives with financial considerations.
- Procurement and purchasing: Manage the purchase order process for finished goods, ensuring materials are delivered on time to meet production schedule
- Problem-solving: Identify and proactively address supply chain disruptions or delays, working across the organization to facilitate swift resolutions.
- Collaborate with partners: Partner with contract manufacturers to prioritize production and monitor capacity limitations to avoid bottlenecks.
- Oversee logistics: Manage 3PL providers, ensuring that customer expectations are met with timely shipments and high service standards.
- Data management: Oversee the creation and maintenance of master data for supply chain operations.
- Inventory oversight: Ensure inventory availability for wholesale orders and that shipments are processed efficiently and accurately.
- Continuous improvement: Look for opportunities to enhance, standardize, and automate planning processes for increased efficiency.

What You'll Need:- 10+ years of experience in supply/inventory planning and purchasing in the consumer-packaged goods industry (supplement experience is a plus but not required).
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with a demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams.
- Experience managing 3PL providers and optimizing logistics operations.
- Prior experience implementing or enhancing ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred).
- A solid understanding of inventory accounting practices.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
Compensation and Benefits:- Pay Range: $91,000 - $150,000
- Your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. The salary range represents the entire compensation range for this position. Exact compensation will depend on a number of factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, level, years of experience, technical expertise, and other qualifications. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. This role is also eligible for equity + generous benefits + 401k + unlimited PTO etc - see our list of perks/ benefits below.
