The role – your passion

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Your roadsurfer Station - Location Management: You will autonomously lead and establish the operations of the station, collaborating closely with headquarters to manage day-to-day activities on-site.

  • Process Optimization: You will effectively implement existing standards and processes while contributing your own ideas (coordinating vehicle returns, handovers, and preparation).

  • Collaboration with roadsurfer Stations: You will maintain constant communication with all international teams to ensure ongoing optimization.

  • Team Leadership: As a Team Leader, you will motivate and guide your team on-site. This includes onboarding, effective task planning, and quality control.

  • Recruiting: You will be responsible for building your team and sourcing suitable talents for your station.

  • Fleet Management: You will consistently oversee the local vehicle fleet for rental and sales: documentation, maintenance, cleanliness, and coordination with local service partners.

  • Customer Service: You advise customers on our products, myroadsurfer, abo, spots, and rent, and send them out as happy roadsurfers on the roads of the USA.  

 

What you need to surf the wave with us

  • High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in business administration or similar is desired.

  •  At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in areas such as car rental, tourism, hospitality or similar - career changers are welcome.

  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of OSHA, Microsoft Office and wage & hour labor laws.

  • Experience in leading and building high performance teams.

  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.

  • Resilient problem-solving abilities and highly organized.

  • Availability to work onsite with open availability.

  • Must hold a Class C driver's license, with clear motor vehicle history.

  • Due to insurance requirements, must be 21 years of age or older.

Work conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, climb, stoop, kneel, walk, reach with hands and arms, use hands to handle, feel or type, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Job Title: Station Manager

Status: Full Time

Pay Band: $28.00-$34.00 ($58,864 - $70,992)
