What are we looking for in our Central Sourcing Support?Job Title: Central Sourcing SupportContract Length: 12 months (with potential for extension)Location: Bass Creek – Hybrid (Core onsite days: Tuesday–Thursday; Local candidates only)Pay Rate: $20 - $22.50 / hourJob SummaryAs a Central Sourcing Support Contractor, you will assist in a company-wide supplier initiative by gathering critical information from suppliers and internal stakeholders. Over time, this role will expand to supporting Category Sourcing teams in strategy development and implementation for assigned categories.Your primary goal will be to manage tasks that ensure suppliers align with Polaris’s priorities: Delivery, Quality, New Product Integration, and Cost Competitiveness.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupplier Relations:• Communicate supplier concerns and opportunities internally.• Support cost recovery initiatives and problem resolution discussions with suppliers.• Maintain supplier data, enter cost changes, and support sourcing projects.• Approve tooling requests based on cost and quality requirements.• Assist with new supplier onboarding and contract routing.Sourcing Priority Management:• Identify and implement process and workflow improvements.• Track and communicate progress on daily tasks.• Maintain accurate costing and identify cost-saving opportunities.• Collaborate with suppliers and Accounts Payable to resolve price and invoice discrepancies.• Support part shortages, delivery issues, and production capacity improvement initiatives.• Partner with sourcing, accounts payable, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues.General Responsibilities:• Analyze data and pull reports using various systems.• Prepare and deliver presentations, including PowerPoint development.• Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities• Strong negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across teams and functions.• Highly organized and adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience with data analysis, reporting, and systems management.Top Requirements• Team player with strong collaboration skills• Detail-oriented and organized• Strong communicator (proficient in email and phone interactions)• Effective at managing multiple priorities and deadlines• Ability to professionally represent Polaris by fostering productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersBackground & Qualifications• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a technical field• APICS CPIM or ISM C.P.M./A.P.P. certification is a plus but not required• Prior experience in materials/purchasing is beneficial but not mandatoryPride Global offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
