Safran Engineering is looking for a Stress Engineer to join our team as our customer has advised they will be ramping up across the Summer.
The job requires a detailed finite element analysis of stationary and rotating assemblies using Ansys Workbench. This will also require ability to do hand-calculations to provide preliminary assessments as well as verifying the analysis results. The job involves working closely with the in-house design and stress teams, keeping them updated with progress and providing top quality deliverables, including presentations and technical reports, on time.
The role will be based in the Bristol area, and will be a combination of working from home as well as working at the customer site. Expected 3 days on site, 2 days at home.
