As a Telephone Operator at Saint Luke’s in Kansas City, MO, you will be the welcoming voice that connects callers to our exceptional healthcare services. Your primary responsibility will be to manage inbound calls, efficiently distributing them to the appropriate departments or individuals. In this vital role, you will remain calm during emergency situations, adhering to established protocols to ensure safety and best practices throughout our facilities. Your keen sense of organization will shine as you document communications meticulously and handle security dispatch requests with precision using two-way radios. You’ll also work closely with our amazing team, assisting in the training and mentoring of new employees so that they can also contribute to the warm and professional environment we have cultivated. Your work schedule will be Thursdays through Sundays from 9:30 AM to 8 PM, primarily stationed at our Plaza campus, but you'll also be flexible to assist at our Smithville campus when needed.
