Telephone Operator

Job Description Answers inbound calls to the switchboard distributing the calls to the appropriate department or individual. Handles all emergency events in a calm and efficient manner following the established process for the facility in which the emergency event occurs. Provides helpful information to internal and external callers. Maintains detailed documentation in the appropriate communication logs. Dispatches Security requests using two way radios in a timely manner. Monitors alerts and alarms and notifying appropriate departments or individuals when required. Assists with mentoring and training of new employees.
