Title: Sales Executive

Location:  Remote (In person meetings as needed)

Role Overview:  Are you a self-starter with the ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced and dynamic entrepreneurial environment? We are looking for a driven, ambitious Sales Executive with a winning mentality who is proud of their sales achievements!

The Sales Executive will drive the full sales cycle to win new business and grow Propeller Industries’ footprint in the market; utilize industry and strategic knowledge to execute both short and longer sales cycles delivering consistent results; find and win clients while also setting them up for success in delivery; leverage their network and business development expertise to create and execute on sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals
  • Lead the sales process for all Propeller Industries’ Service Offerings
  • Build deep knowledge of client business goals and industry to position Propeller’s solutions for future growth
  • Engage prospects to understand high-level needs, verify fit for Propeller Industries’ solution and qualify leads based on set framework
  • Lead efforts to create proposal for offering to prove value add
  • Lead the negotiation, closure, and documentation of client contracts
  • Collaborate with prospective clients to select the best service offering to meet their needs out of Propeller’s full portfolio (including add-on services like Transaction Advisory, Trade Spend, Business Systems Advisory)
  • Develop and deliver innovative strategies that benefit clients
  • Contribute to the development of annual organizational objectives/priorities
  • Leverage CRM to keep status of all leads current by sales stage including bookings value and close date

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong business knowledge to understand client needs and strategy and apply the value of Propeller Industries service offerings to their specific situation
  • Must have the experience and the business savvy necessary to interact directly with the CEO, COO and other senior executives of the client organization
  • Must have the business connections to gain access to new clients through self-directed referrals and customer penetration activities
  • In-depth expertise and/or breadth of knowledge of sales domain
  • Ability to anticipate business and industry issues and recommend new and innovative approaches to respond to changes
  • Able to communicate the same message in a different way to a diverse audience. Superior ability to adapt messages to stakeholders at all levels of the company
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Goal oriented with superior work ethic
  • Able to influence others in decision-making
  • Superior negotiation skills and the ability to negotiate with many personality-types
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work high volume in a fast paced, team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of patience and the ability to nurture

Qualifications:

  • Required experience in B2B sales in Finance and/or Services industry
  • 6+ years of experience selling professional services preferably in venture-backed startup space
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets, getting immediate results while building repeatable processes
  • Experience in all facets of sales: outbound lead generation, follow up, pipeline management, training, and closing skills required
  • Documented success in closing revenue generating business and successful history working under a quota required
  • Previous strategic selling experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred

Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 plus commission, benefits, 401k
