Back Office Agent

Sauce is a premier restaurant technology platform that helps businesses grow with our Commission-Free Delivery & Pickup structure and proprietary delivery optimization technology. We are serving a 105 billion dollar US local restaurant business. Headquartered in NYC and Tel-Aviv, Sauce wants restaurants to fulfill their highest potential, this means giving local establishments everything they need to connect directly with their customers. The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.


Back Office team members are responsible for onboarding new restaurants to Sauce platform using internal Back Office tools and providing support to existing restaurants with regards to building Landing Page, designing flyers, changing restaurant configuration and setting up POS integrations.


You will report directly to the Back Office Team Lead!


Shift Schedule: 5 days a week, 9 hours a day with one hour paid lunch; this schedule MAY INCLUDE NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS!


What You'll Do:
  • Onboard new restaurants to Sauce platform using internal and external tools
  • Accurately configure restaurant settings according to predefined templates
  • Build beautiful landing pages on top of WIX or Wordpress CMS systems
  • Provide Flyers design to restaurant owners to promote their business
  • Configure integration between restaurant POS and Sauce Platform


What You Bring:
  • At least 2 years in a similar position in the restaurant tech industry
  • Experience building Web Pages on top of WIX or Wordpress platforms
  • Good design skills and experience building flyers
  • Experience with Back Office tools and customer configurations
  • Experience with CRM tools and Ticket management systems such as HubSpot
  • Problem-solving and effective communication
  • Customer focused with positive attitude
  • Patient and understanding with a high attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic about learning new tools and systems
  • Able to organize yourself and work remotely
  • Able to fully communicate in English (Reading, Writing, and Verbally)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Resourceful, enthusiastic and self-motivated

Would be a plus:
  • Experience with Toast and Square configurations
  • Work experience with startups (especially e-Commerce startups)
  • Experience with Technical Support and/or QA
  • Any technical background
