Job Description 

SchoolMint is adding a Senior Salesforce Admin (SA) to its Revenue Team. SA will lead the ongoing maintenance and success of data architecture and technology stack within SchoolMint’s Business Operations team, working closely with Sales and Marketing. A successful candidate will have strong Salesforce administration skills, specifically focused on building complex reports and dashboards within the SaaS (Software as a Service) environment, utilizing the platform's reporting capabilities to extract actionable insights and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business. Familiarity with SalesForce CPQ is strongly preferred. This role will help drive strategic decisions on business process, data management, and overall systems infrastructure across the broader organization. This role will also be responsible for managing an associate that will support the day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of all sales & marketing systems as well as the successful execution of demand generation and sales campaigns. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing user access and profiles, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring system security. 
  • Customizing Salesforce objects, fields, and layouts to align with business needs. 
  • Implementing workflows and automation rules to streamline processes. 
  • Troubleshooting user issues and providing platform training.
  • Designing and developing sophisticated reports and dashboards using Salesforce reporting tools. 
  • Extracting and analyzing data from multiple sources within the SaaS platform to generate insightful reports. 
  • Identifying key metrics and KPIs for monitoring business performance. 
  • Visualizing data effectively through charts, graphs, and other data visualization techniques
  • Working closely with sales, marketing, and other departments to understand their data needs and reporting requirements. 
  • Gathering feedback from users to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with subscription-based services, working with the Finance and Business Operations team to ensure that ARR generating activities are properly captured, booked, and reported on

About You:

Education and Preferred Certification(s) 

  • BS in computer science or information systems 
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator, CPQ experience preferred
  • Any additional Designer, Developer, Architect & Consultant Certifications are a plus

Work Experience

  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in a SaaS environment as a Salesforce Administrator
  • 3-5 years of experience in implementation of Salesforce platform and relevant integrations
  • 3-5 years of experience with systems analysis and design
  • Experience in a leadership role (team lead, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Understanding of sales and marketing processes, key metrics, and business goals to design relevant reports
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to design major architectural aspects of an application covering all areas of architectural domains (Application, middleware/services, data, infrastructure, and Cloud)
  • Self-motivated with strong sense of accountability, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively to attain results that meet the business needs
  • Strong understanding of network, computing infrastructure, software, and application development environments
  • Must have strong technical knowledge around CRM implementations like Salesforce, systems and data integration along with cloud enablement
  • Skills: Layouts and other UI config, Reports and Dashboards, Security and Access, Flows, data management
