Job Description
SchoolMint is seeking an entry level Accounting Intern for our Accounts Receivable department. This position will report to the Revenue Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to learn accounting from the ground-up, develop skills and gain experience that will serve as the basis for an Accounting career in the tech industry.

SchoolMint is looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Intern to join our Accounts Receivable department in Lafayette! As part of our amazing team, you’ll work closely with the Revenue Accountant and dive headfirst into the world of accounting from the ground up. This isn’t just a job; it’s an extraordinary opportunity for college students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting to gain invaluable skills and hands-on experience in the dynamic tech industry. Your role will involve invoicing customers based on contract terms, making weekly collection calls and emails for outstanding balances, and monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payments. You’ll also get to showcase your excellent communication skills by responding to customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Plus, you might assist with interim and annual audits, and take on other exciting tasks along the way. At SchoolMint, we value flexibility and professional development, allowing you to work up to 20 hours a week, preferably four to five days, with a full day on Wednesdays.
