Field Service & Site Manager

We are looking for a Field Service & Site Manager for our Germany-wide projects in the field of railroad power supply.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Coordination, planning, and management of commissioning activities for rectifier substations at customer sites throughout Germany
  • Performing electrical protection and functional testing on medium-voltage switchgear (up to 30kV), DC switchgear (up to 3kV), transformers and low-voltage systems
  • Identifying faults and implementing effective solutions to address disruptions
  • Supporting projects from the implementation phase through to final acceptance
  • Preparing construction plans, overseeing construction billing and managing site approval processes
  • Coordinating and supervising on-site suppliers
  • Maintaining regular communication with external clients, service providers, and regulatory authorities
  • A successfully completed education in electrical engineering for energy systems or a related discipline
  • Excellent proficiency in German (minimum C2 level), both written and spoken, along with a strong command of English (minimum B2 level). Additional language skills are an asset
  • 5–10 years of professional experience in electrical installations, with a background in energy distribution, renewable energy, electrical equipment, electric machines, railways, or related fields considered advantageous
  • Proven experience in the professional and timely coordination of construction sites, managing multiple suppliers in areas such as buildings, automation, switchgear, transformers, and electrical assembly
  • Proficient knowledge of VOB, HOAI, applicable standards, and technical regulations
  • Knowledge of MS Project
  • Switching authorization for systems up to 30kV
  • A confident and professional demeanor, strong communication skills, dedication, and adaptability
  • High willingness to travel
