Senior Product Manager (Austin, Remote)

What we are looking for

As a Senior Product Manager at FloatMe, you will be responsible for the experience, monetization, and profitability of its Floats product that allows members to receive Floats up to $50 between paydays. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for developing product strategies and roadmaps, defining functional requirements, and overseeing execution to ensure the successful implementation of new and existing products. Your ability to work independently and take initiative will be critical to your success in this role. This is a highly dynamic and collaborative role that requires exceptional communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. What you will do:

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for products that will power FloatMe's small-dollar wage advance product and future features to enhance our offering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members as an integral member of an Agile development team.
• Write clear and concise requirements to guide the development process.
• Prioritize features based on business value to ensure the successful delivery of effective features that enable FloatMe to be operationally excellent with a positive impact on our KPIs.
• Utilize effective Agile methodologies to manage the development process and ensure the timely delivery of products.
• Conduct market research, analyze customer feedback, and stay up-to-date with industry trends to inform our product strategy and decision-making.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative research to identify product opportunities and prioritize your roadmap.
• Completely own your Agile team's products, existing or new, across the lifecycle - from ideation, through development, to launch, growth, and maintenance. Establishing the proper frameworks to constantly measure and improve.
• Lead and align cross-functional partners and teams: engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, business partners, and operations to drive a shared vision.
• Communicate clearly and effectively at all levels - roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences.

What you will bring:

• 6+ years of experience in Product Management, including a minimum of 4 years as a Senior Product Manager in a rapidly scaling B2C FinTech, neobank, or a B2C technology-driven platform that received venture funding.
• Expertise in consumer lending, with specific experience in underwriting and collections.
• Technical background with experience in working with and/or defining data models.
• Strong planning and workflow capabilities, including the ability to prioritize effectively, provide accurate project details, timelines, and dependencies across teams and work-streams.
• Exceptional quantitative and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of using data to inform product decisions.
• Proven track record of putting customers at the center of product and business decisions, focusing on delivering products and experiences that meet their needs.
• The ability to understand and connect with customers from diverse backgrounds and varied circumstances, with a deep understanding of their pain points and needs.
• Experience in working closely with engineering teams throughout all stages of the software development life cycle, as well as cross-functional teams including designers, product marketing, data analysts, and customer support.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently, set goals, and effectively deliver in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to make strategic, metrics-driven product decisions that balance customer needs, competitive landscape, financial goals, and company mission.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
