At River's Edge, we believe in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our residents, and we are looking for a dedicated Medication Aide to join our team! This full-time position, working Friday through Monday, provides an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of seniors. As a Medication Aide, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe administration of medications while adhering strictly to the six rights of medication administration. Your duties will include counting and documenting all narcotics given to residents and managing the complete inventory of medications. This encompasses everything from ordering to storing and even removing expired medications. You'll need to be diligent about reporting any discrepancies in medication inventory and maintain cleanliness by cleaning all medicine carts at the end of your shift. Additionally, your role will involve providing personal care to our residents, enhancing their overall well-being by assisting with bathing, grooming, and other essential tasks.
