Product Engineer - Tessent - UI/UX

Assists engineers to develop or enhance the user experience and interface for computer-aided engineering design software solutions. Provides technical feedback to software developers related to usability and workflow simplification. Uses data exchange and prototype methodologies to facilitate effective data sharing between dissimilar systems or applications that span across engineering disciplines. Creates technical specifications to define and optimize visual interfaces and system procedures related to computer-aided engineering software. Works with close Supervision. Basic skills with moderate level of proficiency.Essential Functions:• Provide telephone support• Helps to influence management decisions• Provide information/background/opinion in a consulting role to other internal organizations, in addition to customers.• Give presentations on products and the industry at conferences and User Group Meetings.• Escalate serious matters to management.Skills and Abilities Required:Education and Experience Requirement:· Typically requires a degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent design engineering job experienceThis position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Transform the Everyday with UsThe hourly range for this position is $43.07 to $77.54 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
