We seek an experienced Instructional and Curriculum Designer to develop and implement engaging, impactful learning experiences for our customers, partners, and internal teams. As part of Sift, you will design and enhance training programs that educate employees, partners, and customers on our products and services, solutions, fraud prevention best practices, and fraud prevention methodologies.
You will work closely with subject matter experts, product teams, and stakeholders to create interactive learning content that empowers users to maximize the value of our products while strengthening their security posture. This position is a contract position, half time or full time. The hours can be flexible.
Design & Develop engaging instructional materials, including e-learning modules, virtual training, videos, simulations, job aids, and assessments.
Curriculum Development: Create structured learning paths that cater to different personas (customers, partners, and employees) and expertise levels.
Content Strategy: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with industry best practices in fraud prevention and cybersecurity.
Technology Integration: Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring tools (Absorb), and interactive technologies to enhance learning experiences.
User-Centric Design: Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles to develop high-impact training programs.
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Assess training effectiveness through metrics, feedback, and performance data to refine and optimize content.
Compliance & Certification: Assist in developing certification programs and compliance-based learning initiatives that align with industry regulations and standards.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Customer Success teams to ensure training aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning & Development, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5+ years of instructional design and curriculum development experience, preferably in SaaS, cybersecurity, or fraud prevention industries.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Absorb, Camtasia), LMS platforms, and multimedia design software.
Knowledge of Fraud Prevention & Cybersecurity: A plus is familiarity with security principles, fraud detection methods.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear, concise, and engaging training content. Excellent collaboration skills and flexibility in approach.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to assess learner needs and develop innovative solutions to drive engagement and retention.
