Overview

SimVentions, consistently voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for a Systems Test Engineer to join our team on-site at NAVAIR PAX River, MD to support the Software Engineering Department and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Managers Air (PMAs) (SEDSS) perform administrative and technical analysis for a mission planning team.

Clearance

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Candidates must also be eligible to obtain a Top-Secret clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile development methodologies and best practices
  • At least five years’ experience performing administrative and technical analysis
  • Ability to coordinate between cross-functional teams
  • Ability to develop and present briefing material

Responsibilities

The Program Analyst will support a mission planning software system by providing technical and administrative analysis (e.g. planning, scheduling, workload analysis, risk analysis, etc.) while operating within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for software development. The position will include coordination with program Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams requiring superior communication and time management skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Active Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications
  • Prior experience working with DoD platforms or software

Education

BS or BA degree OR at least 10 years' experience performing administrative and technical analysis

Compensation

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

 

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $115,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
