Social Strategy Intern (Remote, LA or NY)

Okay enough about us, let’s talk about you. 


What You’ll Do:


As our social strategy intern, you’ll take your obsession for trends, memes and culture and apply them–supporting our strategy team on client work and their day-to-day tasks. You’ll learn how strategies are built, conduct competitive research, learn about social listening (and use our tools) and help us identify trends and conversations that our clients and creative teams can jump on. 


If you consider yourself a social media enthusiast, are a critical and creative thinker, aren’t afraid of data and digging for stuff on the Internet, this might just be the position for you. Bonus points if you’re on an obscure corner of TikTok (looking at you Capybara-tokers).  


Key Responsibilities:


  • Supporting social media strategists, community managers and analysts with research, listening and insights development  
  • Getting your hands dirty in our internal research tools (and on your favorite search engine for a little desktop research too) 
  • Collaborating with our creative team, brainstorming or publishing content 
  • Providing your POV on why you think content may or may not be performing, and providing recommendations for how to improve it
  • Staying plugged into industry and platform trends and surfacing them to the teams you’re working with while you’re here
  • Helping us organize, streamline and enhance documents and templates that our teams use daily 


Preferred Skills & Experience:


  • Junior or senior college students, career upstarts, or social media newcomers preferred 
  • Passion and interest in social media and a desire to learn more about strategy 
  • Alignment with ATTN:’s purpose-driven values and the messages we and our clients publish every day 
  • Creative brain and a knack for coming up with ideas 
  • Team player who wants to learn 

This is a paid internship for the Summer of 2023.
