Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 1 - Multi Service to oversee food, environmental, and patient services operations at Erlanger Main located in Chattanooga, TN. Our $50 million expansion brings striking architecture, unique amenities, and inviting accommodations in a hospital like you’ve never seen before. But importantly, the new East also unveils an equally dynamic expansion of medical services. Long famous for Women’s Health – we’re also now raising the bar for advanced pulmonary, surgical, stroke, heart, cancer and critical care. The General Manager Multi-Services 1 will oversee Sodexo's operations including, Food & Nutrition and Environmental Services. The hours are generally Monday-Friday-shift with rotating weekends. #LI

What You'll Do

  • manage the environmental services and food and nutrition dept.;
  • have exceptional client service mentality and executive presence;
  • be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;
  • provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
  • support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

What You Bring

  • are an expert in building and maintaining strong customer / client relationships;
  • possess strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion;
  • have 3-5 years previous custodial and food service management experience preferably in a hospital environment; 
  • can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading committees and change management;
  • have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;
  • are proficient with computers and other technology; have strong financial acumen and budget management experience
  • are leaders who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a housekeeping system and patient dining program
