Job Requirements:

The Position will have the following requirements:

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program or Certification as Medical Assistant
• Current CNA or CMA certification
• Minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish encouraged, but not required

Duties and Responsibilities:

In this role, the CNA or CMA supports licensed healthcare professionals in providing quality care. 

• Assisting with medical intake interviews and gathering essential health information
• Measuring and documenting vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration
• Preparing individuals for medical evaluations or procedures conducted by physicians or advanced practice providers
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
• Supporting infection control practices and contributing to a clean, safe care environment
• Providing support in the diagnosis and routine treatment of minor medical conditions
• Assisting with patient education related to basic care, hygiene, and follow-up instructions
• Coordinating and preparing individuals for offsite care
• Monitoring patients under enhanced observation or during isolation as directed
• Supporting public health and infectious disease control efforts when needed
• Ensuring medical supplies and equipment are properly stocked, organized, and sanitized
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure efficient, compassionate patient care
