ABOUT US:
We are at the forefront of digital advertising and marketing for the sports and iGaming industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Product to lead our dynamic team in the development and execution of industry-leading advertising products, including Demand Side Platforms (DSP), Paid Social, Paid Search, and Data Products.

The Head of Programmatic will oversee our programmatic media buying efforts across multiple channels via Sportradars proprietary DSP. This role requires a combination of analytical prowess, strategic planning, and leadership skills to effectively manage our programmatic advertising teams and operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful adoption of the DSP in the market, delivering outstanding performance, managing key partnerships, handling internal and external relationships and staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.

THE CHALLENGE:
Strategic Vision and Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive programmatic strategy aligned with the company's marketing objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale the programmatic team including internal and external stakeholders, like Trading, Supply, Engineering, and Product Management while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and performance. while fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, platforms, and clients to ensure access to the best tools and inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including senior management, team members, and external partners to ensure expectations and objectives are met.

Product Development and Management:

  • Prioritize product initiatives based on business objectives, market research, and customer feedback.
  • Drive innovation by testing new programmatic technologies and approaches.
  • Ensure integration of programmatic platforms with other marketing technologies for seamless data flow and insights generation.
  • Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure product success and alignment with user needs.
  • Serve as the product evangelist, internally and externally.
  • Manage the product budget, ensuring resources are properly allocated for optimal product development and profitability.

Market Analysis:

  • Continuously analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to identify opportunities for new features, enhancements, and potential new products, including cookie deprecation, mobile trends.
  • Establish metrics and key performance indicators to measure product performance and impact.
  • Analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and ensure compliance, particularly in data usage and privacy.
  • Regularly report performance metrics and strategic insights to senior stakeholders and adjust strategies as necessary.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in programmatic advertising, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficient in using DSPs, DMPs, SSPs, Data Clean Rooms, attribution and ad verification tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics and ROI analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including supply, attribution, across multiple channels including Display, Video, DOOH, App Installs, Audio, etc.
  • Knowledge of current industry regulations and guidelines related to data privacy.
