Compensation Partner - Sales

Spotify is seeking a Compensation Partner to be part of the global Compensation team. This is a stimulating and challenging role in an exciting and fast-paced international organization with excellent development opportunities. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music. This role reports to our Head of Compensation.


What You'll Do
  • Own the quarterly sales incentive program and process. Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, and Finance to run a successful program.
  • Provide professional guidance on our compensation programs which consist of cash and long term incentives.
  • Work closely with the HRBP's and leads of the business you support and provide them with relevant analytics and insights.
  • Lead and support compensation processes including the annual compensation review, promotion window, pay equity analysis, and many more!
  • Work closely with our Talent Attraction team and provide guidance on offers for new hires and country transfers.
  • Conduct job evaluations and make compensation recommendations for existing Spotify employees.


Who You Are
  • You have 7+ years experience from working in a global compensation function.
  • You have experience leading, company-wide projects with cross functional teams.
  • You’re an expert at prioritizing and being flexible in a fast paced environment with changing demands.
  • You’re able to embrace ambiguity and autonomy.
  • You have a detailed orientation for numbers and comfort with complex modeling.
  • You’re able to think in an unexpected way and propose creative solutions to nuanced problems.
  • You’re a good negotiator with analytical skills.
  • You’re down to earth and a hardworking teammate with high integrity.
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You’re an expert MS Office user (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Workday or CaptivateIQ experience is a plus!

  • We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!Where in the world? For this role, it can be within the Americas region in which we have a work location.

The United States base range for this position is $102,401 - $128,001 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
