Job Description

As an Associate HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting SSENSE's hourly employees and operations managers by providing expert administrative guidance and addressing HR inquiries. Reporting to the Manager of HR Operations, you will collaborate with the wider People team to ensure seamless HR service delivery throughout the employee lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate employee data, assisting with HR processes, and ensuring all procedures align to support efficient tracking and reporting of key workforce metrics.

What you will do: 

  • Review daily workflows (Time & Attendance, On-boarding, Off-boarding, HR Ticketing, etc.) for compliance with KPIs and timelines.
  • Generate and review time reports, ensuring reconciliation of time cards with employee contracts and HR policies biweekly.
  • Resolve hourly employee queries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to align service delivery with organizational goals, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing.
  • Assist with employee conversion, job abandonment processes, peak-season hiring, and audits on foreign worker status and documentation for compliance.
  • Analyze employee data, troubleshoot Workday Time & Attendance, implement and monitor HR processes, contribute to training documentation, and participate in HR projects to support company goals.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or a relevant field or 6 months to 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role 
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing employment and compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Experience with an HRIS or Payroll Systems, a strong asset.
