Sales Development Representative - East Coast

Role


StarCompliance is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive growth through inbound and outbound prospecting efforts generating qualified sales opportunities/pipeline. As an SDR, you will be responsible for acting on inbound leads, qualifying them against our ICP, perform discovery calls and collaborate with the sales executive to advance the opportunity. Outbound prospecting will be a targeted and customized account-based marketing effort, working closely with the demand generation marketing lead and the sales executive.


This role is a foundational team member working directly alongside our sales executives, SDR leader and other Sales Development team members to continue building growth at StarCompliance. As an SDR, you will be utilizing AI technology (Copy AI and Gong) to assist you with prospecting efforts. The Sales Development Representative must be organized and attentive and be comfortable making outbound calls and communicating information appropriately with Account Executive counterparts.


Responsibilities
  • Funnel Development & Optimization: Education and nurture leads through inbound and outbound prospecting efforts via phone calls, email, webinars and assorted campaigns,
  • Generate Qualified Pipeline: Research ICP targeted accounts and contacts utilizing Copy AI, conduct discovery calls
  • Collaboration: Evangelize StarCompliance’s SaaS Platform to potential clients across various finance-related verticals independently and with sales executives.
  • Continued Education: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the compliance market, StarCompliance’s ICP and sales technology (Copy AI, Gong, Salesforce)
  • Success: Achieve and exceed monthly quotas of meetings and pipeline generation
  • Mandatory Skills, Knowledge or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • At least 6/12 months of experience in a similar sales capacity (preferably at a SaaS tech startup)
  • A track record of achieving sales targets and using platforms like Salesforce, Gong.
  • Excellent time management, analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Proficient with Power Point, Excel, and web presentation tools
  • You are a creative and effective communicator in both written and oral forms
  • Transferable Skills, Knowledge or Experience
  • Skills may be transferable from a role which includes sales, account management, or lead generation responsibilities.
