Your role

As our Social Media & Content Creation Intern, you’ll be at the heart of our studentfocused storytelling. You’ll create engaging content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn — from snappy videos and creative posts to inspiring stories that help students around the world connect with Studyportals. You’ll also help manage our online community by replying to comments and messages, spotting trends, and shaping our content strategy with fresh ideas and a Gen Z touch. On top of that, you’ll play a key role in managing and promoting our Studyportals Scholarship for International Students. You’ll help craft content to spread the word, answer student questions, review motivational letters, and assist in arranging interviews with applicants. From start to finish, you’ll support the entire process — helping to make someone’s dream of studying abroad come true.

Your challenge

During your 6-month internship with our B2C Marketing team, you will help grow Studyportals’ reach and brand awareness among international students through powerful storytelling and authentic content. You’ll also contribute to building a strong community of students around our mission. We encourage you to bring your ideas, take initiative, and co-create projects with our passionate, international team. Your Day-to-Day

In this role, you will:

  • Create, schedule, and publish social media content that resonates with students around the world
  • Monitor and manage our community by responding to comments and direct messages
  • Brainstorm and develop video content (especially for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts) using tools like Canva and CapCut
  • Contribute to the execution and promotion of the Studyportals Scholarship
  • Track engagement, spot trends, and help shape our content strategy based on performance insights
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure consistency and alignment with ongoing campaigns
  • Take part in brainstorming sessions, creative testing, and content planning

You:

  • Are currently pursuing your studies in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business) / must be enrolled at university
  • Are active on social media and enjoy creating content, especially short-form videos
  • Are a quick learner and ideally have first experience with tools like Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, or Excel
  • Are a creative thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Are proactive and not afraid to share and execute your own ideas
  • Have excellent English writing & speaking skills (no Dutch required)
  • Are enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • Care about helping students and are excited to support the Studyportals mission and scholarship programme
  • Monthly allowance of EUR 600
  • A full-time internship position starting in July 2025 and lasting for at least 4-6 months
