Project Manager (Oncology)

Symmetrio is recruiting a Project Manager for our customer, a leader in the Oncology software space. In this position you will manage external client projects from initiation to completion. This role also involves leadership, operational management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Candidates can reside anywhere in the US with preference being given to those in Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects end-to-end, including initiation, planning, and execution.
  • Create and maintain critical project documentation and artifacts.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver on schedule and within budget.
  • Monitor and manage resource allocation, budgets, and timelines.
  • Ensure excellent communication and customer service with stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, propose mitigation plans, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Provide clear progress updates to stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Support continuous improvement of implementation and client support methodologies.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare IT Project Management.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies (preferred).
  • 5+ years in healthcare IT, EMR implementations, and/or SaaS environments.
  • Strong project planning, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365.
  • Understanding of data conversion, interface building, and product management.
