Job Description:
Tamr is looking for a Business Development Representative that can work closely with the sales and marketing teams to turn inbound leads into meetings and new opportunities, as well as create new opportunities from outbound prospecting. In this role, you will reach out to all new and re-engaged marketing leads within your territory to identify potential opportunities and qualify them before passing them along to an enterprise sales representative. Additionally, you will focus heavily on outbound efforts targeting key accounts in our ICP and work with Enterprise reps on a territory strategy. As a member of our sales team, reporting to the BDR Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business and pipeline growth.
Responsibilities:
-Qualify and develop inbound leads into new opportunities
-Qualify and develop outbound leads into new opportunities
-Run follow-up campaigns using a mix of tactics: phone calls, emails, social media engagement, and video meetings
-Track all communications with prospects and customers in Hubspot
-Host 1:1 discovery meetings with potential customers to gather essential information before scheduling demonstration calls with sales representatives
-Work with the sales team to surface key themes and insights from prospect calls and performance of sequences to optimize our messaging and campaign performance
Requirements:
-Undergraduate degree and previous experience with inbound/outbound lead generation, business development, recruitment, or customer service
-Experience working with a CRM and sales execution platform - Hubspot and Outreach preferred
-Experience working with prospecting tools such as intent data and social media platforms - LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and 6Sense preferred
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, written, organizational and telephone skills
-Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines
-Comfortable and flexible in an evolving, growing startup work environment
