We have an exciting Technology Support Specialist position open in our Los Angeles office.


The Technology Support Specialist plays a critical role by directly supporting all team members, providing timely and quality desktop hardware, software, and mobile device troubleshooting, employing a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and responsiveness.


THE DAILIES - YOUR IMPACT:


  • Handle all Tier 1-2 technology support issues for the Shondaland staff including in-depth support for WFH models.
  • Handle day-to-day support of all SAAS platforms, including account management, troubleshooting, feature maintenance, and service issues - including Google Workspace, Office 365, Slack, Envoy.
  • Technical onboarding of all new employees, including necessary training and follow-up.
  • Develop Tier 0 documentation and training when opportunities arise.
  • Manage payment of all SAAS services, hardware purchasing, including managing expense reports.
  • Domain management, including company and SR personal.
  • Manage all hardware and software asset requests, including prepping for use, software installations, and tracking of all hardware.
  • Digest the weekly asset reports for possible update issues and malware.
  • Maintain and gather applicable items for the Shondaland Archives, including editor and director cuts of episodes, podcast audio files, and other media and documentation as needed.
  • Collaborate with multiple 3rd party technology vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers on location.
  • Other duties assigned.


YOUR ESSENTIALS - QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred, but not required.
  • 2-3 years' experience in a Tier 1 & 2 technical support environment. TV/Film experience a plus.
  • Be a problem-solver.
  • Ability to maintain a sense of calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and to move between duties with ease.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality and discretion.
  • Highly organized, with an ability to create and implement systems of organization to keep the department on track in meeting deadlines and goals.
  • Experience administering Google Workspace & Slack.
  • Eagerness to learn and advance knowledge in the technology sphere.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Proficient in the administration and support of Google Workspace, Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, & Slack.
