Job Description: Payroll and Account Manager (US Client)

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll and Account Manager to join our team. This role involves managing payroll processing, overseeing client accounts, and ensuring compliance with US tax regulations. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of payroll systems, accounting principles, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Management:
    • Process payroll for multiple clients accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Handle payroll tax filings, including the preparation and submission of federal and state tax reports.
    • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity.
    • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries promptly.
  2. Account Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for US-based clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
    • Manage client accounts, including invoicing, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
    • Provide regular updates to clients on their financial standing and address inquiries related to payroll and accounting matters.
  3. Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
    • Prepare and maintain comprehensive records for audits and reporting purposes.
    • Monitor changes in tax laws and update payroll processes accordingly.
  4. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal departments, such as HR and accounting, to ensure smooth payroll operations.
    • Assist in onboarding new clients and setting up payroll systems tailored to their needs.
  5. Process Improvement:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll management, preferably with US clients.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Gusto, QuickBooks) and accounting tools (e.g., Xero, Netsuite).
  • Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Certification in payroll
