In this high-impact role, you will be the strategic right hand to the CEO, providing leadership and oversight in key operational areas including Human Resources, Communications, Facilities Management, Construction, Security, and Board Relations. If you are ready to lead with purpose, drive strategic initiatives, and support The Harris Center's mission, we encourage you to apply.As Our CAO, You Will• Lead High-Level Initiatives: Serve as a key member of the executive team, directing and overseeing major programs initiated by the CEO, ensuring successful implementation across the organization• Drive Strategic Direction: Develop and implement strategic plans that align with The Harris Center’s Mission, Vision, and the Board of Trustees' priorities, guiding the organization toward sustained growth and impact.• Champion Organizational Communication: Lead efforts to ensure clear and effective communication across departments, driving alignment and execution of strategic priorities.• Build Key Relationships: Foster strategic alliances with internal and external stakeholders, strengthening The Harris Center’s mission and expanding its community impact.• Focus on Organizational Excellence: Oversee operations across multiple functions, ensuring the organization meets its key objectives and strategic goals.• Support Board Relations: Coordinate all activities related to the Board of Trustees and committee meetings, facilitating effective communication and ensuring alignment with board priorities.What We Are Looking For• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive senior leadership experience within commercial, non-profit, or government environments, with a proven track record in driving operational excellence and overseeing diverse non-clinical functions.• Education: Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.• Industry Knowledge: Expertise in facilities management, construction oversight, security, human resources, and communications within complex, multi-functional organizations.
